It is with great sadness that we have to report the passing of K3MOB {WA3PBD} Andrew L Pato. Andy was an Pittsburgh fixture of the ham radio community as the owner of several high profile repeater such as the 146.73 and 145.47 machines.  They were always the one that got programed into everyone radios and the place to find your friends hanging out on.   He was an outstanding builder of repeater and you could find them on every frequency from 10m, 6m, 2m, 440, to 1296 Ghz.  I still remember his machine re-transmitting the early Space Shuttle flights. We here at SCARC are thinking of our friends at the Gateway Repeater Association and Andy’s wife Susan KB3CNN.
