CHAPTER 6 QCWA MEETING

On December 4th Saturday at 3:00 pm the QCWA Chapter 6 will be having there business meeting at Jabby Joe’s Bar and Grill 1562 Island Ave, Mc Kees Rocks, PA 15136 . Everyone is invited to come Xyl’s, Yl’s., Om’s even if your not a member. The meeting does not last long and afterwards it becomes a rag chew. So again come on down and break bread, swap lies and a great way to see your fellow hams for a holiday celebration.

 

ARRL November Sweepstakes

Contest Objective: To support amateur self-training in radiocommunications, including improving amateur operating skills, conducting technical investigations, and intercommunicating with other amateurs. Stations in the United States and Canada (including territories and possessions) exchange information with as many other US and Canadian stations as possible on the 160, 80, 40, 20, 15 and 10 meter bands.

Dates:
CW: First full weekend in November (November 6-8, 2021).
Phone: Third full weekend in November (November 20-22, 2021).
Contest Period: Begins 2100 UTC Saturday and runs through 0259 UTC Monday.

CHAPTER 6 QCWA MEETING

As usual, solicitations are made for prepared presentations with a bribe of a free lunch. Volunteers please contact President Jack Buzon, KA3HPM, ahead of time for agenda sequencing.  So far, our meeting agenda will include the reunion of Covid-19 parolees, breaking of bread, and our usual swapping of stories.  Good news during these troubling times comes with the suspension of our annual five dollar dues for 2021.  Here’s looking forward to seeing the membership again after the year and a half hiatus.
