JOINT OPERATIONS BETWEEN NORTH HILLS ARC AND STEEL CITY ARC
SUNDAY – NOV 3rd @ 11:00 AM

Join us up at McConnells Mills State Park  we are going to do a fox hunt and a POTA activations.  Come on up to the park to learn more about how to do a fox hunt and/or activate a POTA station.  This is a joint club operations both North Hills ARC and Steel City is helping out on this event.   North Hills ARC will have their communication trailer along with IC-7300 and Steel City will have both there go boxes in the field.  There will be plenty of chances to get on the air.  For the Fox Hunt will will have three foxes out in the field for you to try to find.   Like the last time there will be one that you can walk to and another and the other two that you will have to drive to.  So there will be beginners to expert foxes to find.   Will will be providing Burger and Hot Dogs for this event along with Pop to drink.  Please help us out and bring along a covered dish to share.  We will be station at the picnic pavilion at the park in the Kildoo Picnic area.  A donation box will be there to help cover the cost of the event.  This is open for all radio amateurs in Western PA.  Stay tune for more information

Take I-79 North to exit 96 {Portersville} then get on US-19 heading North to the sign for McConnells Mills  we will be at the picnic pavilion.
