MEMBERS: Get the word out to any Scouts you know
In January 4th, 2024 our education chairperson Jeffrey Bussard, N3EVN will be teaching a class for the Boy Scouts for the Radio Merit Badge. The one requirement Jeff will need help with is the scout are required to make some contacts. So SCARC will be taking our two Go Kits to get the “Make A Contact” requirement done. We will be using our Steel City Repeater 147.030 Mhz PL 123.0 and the North Hills ARC 147.090 Mhz PL 88.0 repeater plus the HF bands to make the contacts. So we will need many operators to standby on the repeaters to help the scout get their requirements in. For more information contact Jeff at n3evn {at} yahoo {dit} com
